Shakeel Ahmed Meer has built a reputation as a leader who leads by example, guided by hard work, integrity, and a relentless focus on creating value. He sees success differently from most. He grew up in Mirpur, Kashmir. As a boy, he asked endless questions, always curious, always pushing boundaries. His curiosity was beyond his age, which drove him to pursue his engineering degree in Lahore, and that curiosity was followed by landing in Glasgow for his master’s degree.
After taking up various roles in operations and business transformation in the UK, He got the urge to create something more and something worldwide. That’s when Meer Group was born, a diversified investment giant in Dubai, covering electric vehicles, real estate, technology, healthcare, and many other sectors. But to Mr Meer, business is not just a money-making machine. It is about making a difference.
